This Privacy Policy explains how MyThai.House (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use mythai.house or contact us about buying, selling or renting property in Koh Samui. We process personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).

2. What personal data we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, LINE ID, nationality, the type of property you are looking for, your budget and any message you send through our forms, by email, phone, WhatsApp, LINE or social media.
- Property owners: details of the property you ask us to list, such as address, photos, price, title documents and ownership information.
- Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you arrived on our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your data
- To answer your enquiries and send you properties that match what you are looking for.
- To arrange viewings and put you in touch with property owners, developers, lawyers or other service providers when you ask us to.
- To list and market properties on behalf of owners.
- To send you news about new listings, but only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run, secure and improve our website, and to understand how visitors use it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process your data to take steps you request before entering into an agreement (for example, answering an enquiry or arranging a viewing), for our legitimate interests in running our business, to comply with the law, and with your consent where consent is required (for example, marketing emails and non-essential cookies).
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed to help you, for example with property owners or developers you are interested in, lawyers and other professionals involved in a transaction, and service providers that host our website, forms, email and CRM systems. Some of these providers may store data outside Thailand; where this happens we take steps to make sure your data stays protected as the PDPA requires.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make it work properly, remember your preferences (such as saved searches and favourite properties) and measure visitor statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly without them.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as we are helping you and for up to three years afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep it longer or you ask us to delete it sooner.
8. Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to access your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw your consent at any time, receive a copy of your data, and complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to our website and restricted access to our systems.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
